Brazil’s Independent Gaming (BIG) Festival — Brazil
South America’s biggest and most popular gaming festival is Brazil’s Independent Gaming (BIG) Festival. BIG is a recording-breaking festival in its number of attendees and submissions for game nominations. As a business hub for local and international game developers, the festival strengthens the independent gaming production by exchanging experiences from developers from all over the world. Every year attendees enjoy indie games and see which nominees will take win!
Cronos Tech & Gaming Fest — Heredia, Costa Rica
This festival takes place over three days dedicated to experiencing new games with tournaments and over 100 activities to enjoy. Over the weekend each activity is divided between zones specific to the gamer. Some of these zones are Retro Gaming Zone, Kid Zone, Zone Board Games, or even a High Tech Zone.The official tournaments of the festival include League of Legends, Pokemon, Just Dance, and so much more! This festival has enough to keep gamers of all types entertained.
Gamercon — Florianopolis, Brazil
Gamercon is a festival of electronic games and open to the public. Attendees will experience the top new releases from major industry players such as Sony, Ubisoft and WB Games. Other games from independent producers are also available to play. This event brings visitors from all over southern Brazil to enjoy the latest games and interactive gaming events.
